One of the primary goals of the event is to “cultivate a network of senior leaders, experts, and dynamic thinkers who will continue to communicate towards the goal of reducing sexual assault and sexual harassment at colleges and universities.”

Dr. Jouriles will join a group of expert panelists on Thursday morning to discuss prevention strategies. He will address a captive audience of Chancellors, Deans, and Presidents from colleges and universities across the country.

In addition to being a Dedman Family Distinguished Professor and the Dale McKissick Endowed Professor of Psychology, Jouriles co-directs the Family Research Center with Senior Associate Dean and Psychology Professor, Renee McDonald. The Family Research Center is housed within the SMU Department of Psychology and is committed to producing and sharing research and providing training that improves the lives of families living with violence.
