A lecture by Professor Nilssen of Nord University, Norway, addressing the economic, social, political, and financial impacts of climate change on the global food system and its ability to feed a growing population. The Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015 aim to eliminate hunger and malnutrition in the world by 2030. The reality is that today the international community today confronts unprecedented challenges as climate change redefines what, where, and how much food can be produced.
