Don’t miss Homecoming on the Hilltop, October 24–27. Homecoming traditions are even more exciting during SMU’s centennial commemoration, with fun for the whole family.

Festivities kick off on Thursday with dinner on the historic main quadrangle honoring SMU’s Distinguished Alumni Award recipients. This year we will recognize Joseph M. (Jody) Grant ’60, Jeanne Roach Johnson ’54 and Peggy Higgins Sewell ’72. Brittany Merrill Underwood ’07 will receive the Emerging Leader Award, which recognizes the accomplishments of SMU alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years.

A meeting of the campaign volunteers will start the day on Friday. All Homecoming participants are encouraged to visit SMU’s Centennial Hall, stop over at the Bush Presidential Center, tour the SMU campus and gather for mini-reunions with friends. Be sure to see the Mustang Band perform Pigskin Revue, one of SMU’s oldest traditions. Saturday morning starts off with the SMU Community Parade and family-friendly activities on The Boulevard. Join classmates and friends for the picnic lunch before the Mustang football game. Those classes celebrating reunions will gather for parties in venues across town Saturday evening.

Don’t miss a minute of the fun! Visit smu.edu/homecoming for information on all the weekend’s activities.
