Welcome to Board of Advocates at the SMU Dedman School of Law
Upcoming Events
The Board of Advocates (BOA) is an organization of law students committed to learning about the advocacy side of the practice of law. Led by an Executive Board and strongly supported by the law school administration and faculty, the BOA promotes the practical side of “lawyering” through on and off campus competitions in a variety of substantive areas. Whether you aspire to be a transactional attorney working on multi-million-dollar deals or a trial-ready litigator, the BOA provides numerous opportunities for SMU students to hone their advocacy skills.
