Tyler Anderson came to SMU because of the great political science department, the opportunities after graduation, the location, and of course the campus itself. But, when it came down to it, it was the scholarship that allowed him to come to SMU. Tyler believes “[he] wouldn’t have received the same type of education or experience at any other university.” He says that “donations ensure SMU has the funding that is needed to continue to push forward in the future.”
Tyler is the Director of Programs with the Tower Center Student Forum and Speakers Chair with Program Council. He has managed to hold a 4.0 GPA with honors while quadruple majoring! When Tyler does have free time, he enjoys playing Frisbee and says his favorite memory while at SMU is the lifelong friends he has made.
