I wanted to take a moment to invite you and your undergraduate students to participate in the 9th annual Collin College Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Student Research Conference.
It takes place April 18 & 19, 2018 on the Spring Creek Campus (2800 East Spring Creek Parkway. Plano, Texas, 75074) and is open to all undergraduates from all disciplines.
The call for papers is attached here.
Visit our website at: http://www.collin.edu/conference/studentresearch/
You will find the call for papers, FAQs, maps, past programs, etc. You can also watch an 8-minute video on the conference background and submission process which can be accessed here: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cblrFp28sX
In a nutshell, students that have conducted or are currently conducting research (experiments, social science research papers, art displays, etc.), are encouraged to submit. If accepted, you will present on either April 18th or 19th, 2018 in whatever format they prefer (roundtable, panel, performance, poster board, etc.).
The Top 6 (competed) papers will receive “Top Paper” honors. Four of those winners will receive a $1,250.00 scholarship!
The event is free, open to the public, fully catered, and an exceptional way for Undergrads to experience an academic conference. In fact, even if you are not presenting, we encourage you to attend as audience members!
