This statewide, nonpartisan event offers the next generation of civic leaders the insiders’ perspective about what it’s like to have a career in public service. Students will hear directly from active political professionals on topics such as “Stepping Up: What it Means to Choose Public Service”, “Political Communication and the Media in Politics”, and “Choosing Your Political Career Path.” Participants and speakers will have an additional opportunity to mingle and network at an informal after-party immediately following the conference.
