Coffee, cookies and Conversation! Join us as we discuss the role of the intelligence community in counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and preventing weapons of mass destruction.


SatherJon Sather served as the Chief Intelligence Officer at Stratfor until June, 2016, and is presently engaged in private sector intelligence and analysis.

From 1989 until 2015, Jon served as an operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency, Directorate of Operations, in line, management and leadership positions. The CIA mission is focused on solving challenges of unprecedented complexity in environments of high physical, geopolitical, and organizational risk. Retiring from CIA in 2015 as a member of the Senior Intelligence Service – he was a member of the senior leadership team in CIA that directs world-wide operations. Mr. Sather gained his intelligence community and strategic policy experience through nearly three decades of close interaction with policymakers, while leading skilled, multi-disciplinary teams in CIA.
