Marianne Stewart and Harold Clarke Reveal Britons’ Leadership Woes

Tower Center Fellow Marianne Stewart and Senior Fellow Harold Clarke conducted a survey of people in the U.K. as part of a study funded by the National Science Foundation and wrote about their study in the Washington Post. Their study revealed that regardless of Britons’ feelings about Brexit, their outlook on Prime Minister Theresa May is none too sunny. Her party may choose to replace her with someone more popular — but whether the people would be any happier with someone like controversial politician Boris Johnson is unclear.
