The movement to end apartheid was a global effort. This site documents the role played by North Texans–in Dallas and Fort Worth and on the campus of Southern Methodist University–in urging local institutions to divest and implement sanctions.

This project would not be possible without the support of many, including partner Richard Knight of the African Activist Archive, Rick Halperin of the Embrey Human Rights Program, STAR Samantha Glasford, Joan Gosnell of DeGolyer Library, Timothy Binkley of Bridwell Library, Cindy Boeke and Rob Walker of Norwick Center for Digital Solutions, and Marilyn Clark at the South Dallas Cultural Center.
