AmeriCorps Members for the B3X Summer Program!
WHO:
• High school graduate
• 17 or older by 6/5/2016
• US citizen or permanent resident
• Clear criminal background check
• Experience with art, music, science or teaching is helpful, but not required
• Interest, patience, and compassion in working with children and families
WHAT:
B3X is an interactive, high-energy enrichment camp focusing on science, math, music & the arts for children in grades K-8. B3X provides hands-on experiments and projects to engage children in learning. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for leading a pre-determined curriculum for all programming and activities, chaperoning field trips, and overseeing a variety of curriculum components. In addition, members will interact with, train and coordinate daily volunteer groups.
WHEN: May 30-August 4, 2017, Monday – Friday

SALARY: $1,800 Total summer living allowance (divided and paid biweekly)
