Part-Time Teaching Position for SPRING 2018
A University Park family is looking for an elementary education student (graduate or undergraduate) to facilitate learning at their home, teaching a 3rd and 5th grader, while their private school teacher is out on maternity leave.
Dates: March 27th-May 4th (about 6-7 weeks)
Times: 8:30-12:30, Monday-Friday, however these dates and times are somewhat flexible.
Pay: Paid hourly, based on your credentials/level of education, up to 20 hours a week.
Possible teaching assignments include Reader’s Workshop, Writer’s Workshop, math, spelling, science, social studies, and art. Reading, writing, and math lessons will already be prepared for you. You will have an opportunity to shadow the teacher and get oriented to the classroom prior to the start date.
