Meadows School of the Arts
Virginia is a junior majoring in art history in Meadows School of the Arts, with a minor in French in Dedman College. During spring 2012, she is studying in Paris with SMU Abroad and the IES Business and International Affairs Program. Trigg is a senior President’s Scholar majoring in business at the Cox School of Business and theatre at Meadows School of the Arts (a combination he likes to call “Show Business”). Ben, a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master’s of music in vocal performance, is performing February 8 and 10, 2008, in Liebe, L’amour, L’amore . . .Tell me the Truth about Love!, an opera gala presented by the Meadows Symphony Orchestra and Meadows Opera Theatre. The concert, which includes works from multiple operas and composers, will bring the beauty, excitement, pain and thrills of love to concertgoers. Continue reading
Amy spent winter break 2007-08 in Oaxaca, Mexico, where she and other SMU students explored culture, art and anthropology – visiting villages, churches and museums; participating in festivals; and working alongside the indigenous people of Oaxaca. Amy is a junior from Austin majoring in studio art with minors in art history and women’s studies. Continue reading
