Preparation Before the Trip
Planning a project domestically with a team can be difficult to begin with, but when you add 1,812 miles of distance that difficulty can multiply exponentially. However, when you have an amazing team here in the U.S., and a more amazing group of women working in Guatemala, a project like this becomes a joy to work on. I cannot wait to finally meet face to face with Miriam, Sonia and Teresita. Just one more day before we depart for Guatemala!
Skype Meeting: from left, me, Ninfa Tarango, (SMU CCCD Program Manager), Raul Magdaleno, and Manuel Caballero. On the computer screen via Skype are Sonia, Teresita and Miriam.
