Last night in NOLA

Taylor.jpg An update from Taylor, a sophomore communication studies major:

NO2.jpg Tonight’s our last night in New Orleans. The past three days have presented an amazing journey. Every speaker has so much to say, and all add to one key theme: Louisiana provides so much to the United States; it’s time for the United States to help Louisiana.

No matter if it’s restoring the wetlands, understanding the impacts of Louisiana on the economy or communicating the impact of the BP “gusher” on the seafood industry – each speaker’s passion about their topic filled the room.

I can’t wait to pack my bags and go to our next stop tomorrow. (We’re going to see the barrier islands we’ve heard so much about!) Until then it’s time to get some beignets, king cake and coffee!
