Detour in London

An update from Eric, MBA ’12 with a concentration in finance and strategy, who traveled to India with the Cox Global Leadership Program:

There’s nothing like starting off with a little adversity. Our flight was late departing from D/FW, we made good time across the pond, and then Heathrow got us. Between the security lines, a long bus ride between terminals, and a “Home Alone”-esque dash to the gate – WE MISSED OUR FLIGHT!

We are now being routed through Mumbai on the way to Bangalore, and we
will get a preview of Kingfisher Air connecting us to Bangalore.

In the meantime, we have the distinct privilege of hanging out in Heathrow for a quarter day, and moving a group of 14 sans cell phones is proving to be a challenging task.

Hopefully some fish and chips are in my future. Stay tuned; this is quickly turning out to be quite an adventure.
