Final fall recruitment volunteer opportunity

SeRVes (Student Recruitment Volunteers),

November 1 was the SMU admission early action application deadline and I am excited to report that over 6,500 students have applied! At this time last year, 3,500 students had applied. The SMU community is very proud of this accomplishment and credits much of the success to the good work of our SeRVes.

This good news was reported to the Alumni Board, and they were thrilled to hear of the positive progress. As a reminder, SMUs goal is to acquire 10,000 applications by the final deadline, January 15.

Final fall recruitment volunteer opportunity
Make calls to an exclusive group of talented, highly sought after students who have applied early and will very likely be admitted to SMU. Your call thanking the student for applying will help bridge the gap of time during the holidays when they are anxiously awaiting a decision from SMU. We want to make sure SMU stays at the top of their list!

Each volunteer will make about 10 calls between now and December 31st.

Can you help make these calls? If so, please email me at acurran@smu.edu.

Thanks in advance for your help!
