Meg Friess ’12

Meg Friess is a trademark and copyright attorney at the Dallas-based intellectual property firm Hitchcock Evert LLP. Having worked professionally in both law and the arts, she is executive director of Arts Counsel Texas, where the members promote the preservation of the thriving arts community by furthering interaction between creative professionals and attorneys. Aside from a law degree, she has an undergraduate degree in music and a master’s degree in modern art. She has worked at a variety of North Texas arts institutions, including Dunn and Brown Contemporary and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. She sits on the board of ArtLoveMagic.
