Kurt-Andrew Zeller ’82, winner of Clayton State University’s Smith Faculty Award

Kurt-Alexander Zeller was honored with the 2014 Alice J. Smith Faculty Award by Clayton State University, where he is director of opera and vocal studies and coordinator of the Division of Music.  The Smith Award is presented annually to the Clayton State professor judged most outstanding by a peer-review process considering scholarship, service and observation of effective teaching. He presented his work on body mapping in the applied voice studio at the 8th quadrennial International Congress of Voice Teachers, held in July 2013 in Brisbane, Australia. Zeller earned bachelor’s degrees in theatre and voice performance from SMUs Meadows School of the Arts.
