Remembering Professor Fred Wendorf, World-renowned Archaeologist

Noted archaeologist Fred Wendorf, credited with contributing more than any other individual to our understanding of early human life in northeast Africa, died in Dallas Wednesday, July 15, following a long illness. He was 90. Wendorf, pictured at Nabta Playa in Egypt, earned numerous prestigious international awards for his work.
