Education Professor Named Caruth Institute STEM Initiatives Director

Leanne Ketterlin-Geller (standing in the photo above) has been appointed director of K-12 STEM Initiatives for SMU’s Caruth Institute for Engineering Education – a cross-disciplinary appointment that takes full advantage of SMU’s strengths in the Lyle School of Engineering, home to the Caruth Institute, and in the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development. Ketterlin-Geller will be working very closely with Delores Etter, executive director of the Caruth Institute and TI Distinguished Chair in Engineering Education, as well as other faculty members from both schools to advance interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics among young students.
