Hamon has acquired volumes 1-49 to complete an entire set of the serial, Studi Etruschi. With the formation of the Comitato permanente per l’Etruria, or Permanent Committee for Eturia, this series began in 1927 to annually publish articles on Etruscan civilization. It continues today under the sponsorship of the Istituto nazionale di studi etruschi ed italici and remains a significant scholarly source on Etruscan civilization with an emphasis on art and archeology. The Library’s acquisition also includes indexes for volumes 1-5 and 31-40.
