STUDENT REPORTS BEING ROBBED NEAR STADIUM
An SMU student reported to police Friday afternoon that she was robbed at gunpoint by a cab driver about 3:30 a.m. Friday as she exited his cab on Airline Road at near Ford Stadium.
She said the cab driver pulled over to let her out and as she was getting ready to pay him, he pointed a gun at her and told her to leave everything in the cab. She said she complied and then walked to her residence hall. She said she had gotten into the cab in front of the Green Elephant Bar on Yale Blvd. but did not recall the color of the cab or what the cab driver looked like.
