Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs Support Students with Gifts Campaign

4581613.jpg The SMU Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs are supporting four projects with their 2011 Spring Gifts Campaign, which provides funds to programs that enhance SMU students’ campus experience.

The projects include a bilingual video that offers tips to parents of first-year students; Mustang Corral T-shirts; a leadership reception that promotes campus involvement to new students; and a family-style fellowship lunch that will be held after All-University Worship services on Sundays.

“The projects chosen this year encourage leadership, fellowship, community and communication,” says Cindy Powell, Mothers’ Club president. “The support from our SMU parents is remarkable, and we are grateful for every contribution.”

The Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs have been supporting SMU for more than 80 years by backing efforts that benefit students and address campus needs.
