Organic and fresh fruits and vegetables will be sold from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center Commons. Blueberries, plums, mangos, nectarines and organic apples, carrots and spring-salad mixes are just a few of the offerings for sale. Items, which will be priced by the pound, can be bought with cash, credit or Pony cash.
In addition to buying fresh fruits and vegetables, students will be able to participate in cooking demonstrations and other healthy living activities. For more information, visit the Farmers Market website.
