We are excited to announce that the student senate funded us to buy 10 more bikes to add to our fleet of 22 in order to better serve the student community around campus as they move from place to place in a green healthy way. Due to the high number of lease bike requests that we get every semester, we usually have to do a draw from the list of interested students and the lucky ones are eligible to come lease a bike from the SMU Outdoor Adventures at a cost of $15.00 for the semester. We give first priority to students living on campus, then those living off campus but near enough for bike rides and finally staff that may be in need of a bike. Bikes for the fall semester have already been allocated.
