Next and Previous buttons in FireFox browser

In Firefox in a call number search the “Next and Previous” tabs did not work properly. I had to go back to the list and pick the next entry. [Submitted by Sandra Setnick Zucker June 27, 2009 15:39]

Left-anchored title search–is the entire 245 field indexed and searchable?

I think the left anchored title search is not indexing and retrieving the entire 245 field. When I ran a search on: “Journal of the Honorable House of Representatives of the colony of the Massachusetts-Bay in New-England, begun and held at the Meeting-House in Watertown, in the county of Middlesex, on Wednesday the nineteenth day”, it retrieved both this and the following title: “Journal of the Honorable House of Representatives, of the colony of the Massachusetts-Bay, in New-England. Begun and held at the Meeting-House in Watertown, in the county of Middlesex, on Wednesday, the twenty-ninth day of May”, despite the difference in the title. Is this a known issue or a new bug? I can investigate further if needed. [Submitted by Sarah Haight June 29, 2009 14:36]

Redirects from author names and subjects should be to browse searches

When you are in a record and click on an author or subject, you are taken to the results of a search for this term. It would be better if you were taken to a browse, so you could see alternate forms possible. This can be a problem — for instance, someone brought me a record for a book where the subject heading had been misspelled, and clicking on the subject heading showed only one book with that subject heading assigned, but there was no way to see we had many books with the correct heading. Is this something we can change? [Submitted by Sarah Haight June 29, 2009 14:41]

Searches should be editable after a filter is used

Searches should be editable after a filter is used. For example, after doing a title search, the edit search button is available. However, once a filter is added, this option disappears. You have to remove the filter in order to edit your search. [Submitted by Rebecca Graff June 13, 2009 13:37]
