Mustang Excellence Funds are used to benefit or enhance the specific program’s greatest need for that particular year. As an example, recruiting needs for a particular year may exceed a particular sport’s budgeted dollars. The program’s Excellence Fund could supplement those costs and maximize competitive recruiting opportunities. Excellence funds are also applied to supplement team travel, special equipment purchases, or a variety of other unforeseen operational expenses.
Any size gift will help provide our student-athletes with an outstanding SMU experience in the classroom, during competition and in life.
