Taylor Logan

073fc32Taylor Logan, SMU Class of 2015, is a Communication Studies and Public Relations major with Spanish and Arts Management minors. She chose this course of study due to her passion for working with non-profits, especially in the arts. By focusing on nonprofit communication, Taylor has become an expert in donor relations and all public relations efforts on behalf of a nonprofit. She has been able to put her study to practice both with mustangonconsulting and as an intern for the American Red Cross.
Clients love working with Taylor due to her detailed and meticulous approach to projects. Before working with a client, Taylor makes sure she understands their goals and how she can best help in the achievement of these goals. Taylor believes that two heads are always better than one and loves brainstorming with the mustangconsulting team on client projects.
Taylor is a natural leader, which helped her selection as member of SMU’s Panhellenic Council, helping to oversee the Panhellenic Community on the SMU campus. She has also worked as an Event Planner for Alpha Chi Omega and was a Paramount Picture Promotional Intern at the Levenson Group. Although Taylor is from Indiana, she is a Southerner at heart and is a member of SMU’s western dance team, The Mustang Mavericks.
Taylor admires business leader Blake Mycoskie, founder of the nonprofit TOMS. By helping others, he turned his shoe company into a household name and this inspires Taylor to pursue her own dream of making a difference in the lives of those in need. After graduation, Taylor hopes to follow a similar path and work with a nonprofit. Taylor has big dreams and we know she will achieve them; she works hard everyday and is inspired by her favorite quote, “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
