Request library instruction

Have a librarian design an in-class session, online tutorial, research guide or all of the above for your students that will introduce them to the best sources for their research and more importantly build the Information Literacy skills necessary to succeed in this class and beyond.

Request films for your class

Have a film that you either want to show in your class or be available to your students outside of class. We will track it down and either send you a link to stream it for free or put it on reserve for your class at Fondren’s Main Desk.

Put something on reserve for your class

Know of a book that could really help your classes research and want to make sure it is available for them. Even if we do not currently own it, we try to make those materials that will improve your student’s learning available to them for the entire semester.

“Test Drive” your research assignment

Have an assignment that you want improve or just an idea or hunch that you want to turn into next semester’s project. Send over whatever you have and we will “Test Drive” it. We will tell you what skills and knowledge the assignment is building for students, help you identify potential rough spots for their learning, and collaborate to build the custom library support to make the assignment work. Together we can fine tune your assignment to make it efficient and effective for both student and instructor.
