Division of Art Associate Professor of Photography Debora Hunter wants to students to engage with art outside the frame. Professor Hunter teaches a class called “Art in the World,” which is required for our second-year B.A. and B.F.A. students, and it puts artists in the field.

According to Professor Hunter, in the class students will “explore art outside of the classroom and studio by taking field trips to museums and meeting with art professionals.” Here are photos, courtesy of Professor Hunter, of the latest visit–to the Meadows Museum, to the Kimbell Museum, Bridwell Library, Dallas Museum of Art, and the Nasher Sculpture Center.
