M2 represents a significant upgrade over ManeFrame – it has more than 6 times the processing power and a number of new cutting-edge technologies. With a theoretical peak processing capacity of 630 teraflops, it gives SMU faculty and students access to a state-of-the-art resource for research and teaching.
