Change Vimeo’s privacy settings & embed video defaults.

Vimeo a useful tool for sharing videos and presentations, but sometimes you need to restrict the access for those video by changing Vimeo’s privacy settings and how those videos can be embedded. You can even create a default preset to speed the process.

At SMU, our videos are restricted to only being seen on SMU domains and through our learning management system, Canvas. Setting Up Duo Two-Factor Authentication at SMU

The following steps are our recommendations for the initial setup of Duo’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) at SMU.

  1. Install the Duo Mobile app on a smartphone or tablet.
  2. Enroll your mobile device with Duo.
  3. Activate Duo Mobile for your Device.
  4. Add a second device, such as your office phone.
  5. Configure Duo to automatically send a Duo Push to your mobile device.

InstagramYou may have heard of Instagram after Facebook purchased it for $1 Billion in 2012, but many still are not really sure what it is or does. The simple answer is Instagram is a photo and video sharing app. Sort of a Facebook for pictures, and part of the reason Facebook acquired it. You can take photos, add filters to them (this is one of Instagram‘s signature features), share photos, tag your friends, browse other great photos from all over the world.
