End of support for Java impacts AdminImages Firefox Users

FirefoxLike Chrome before it, Firefox has ended support for NPAPI, impacting plugins for Java, Silverlight, and other similar NPAPI-based plugins. Beginning with Firefox v52, released in March of 2017, plug-in support is now limited to Adobe Flash. This lack of support will impact users of AdminImages on campus.

We are aware Firefox is a popular browser on campus and SMU has been in conversations with the vendor. The recommendation based on those conversations is to use Internet Explorer (Windows) or Safari (Mac OS X) instead. This change only affects AdminImages.SMU and does not impact the Apps.SMU ImageNow apps or the ImageNow client. We apologize for any inconvenience in your workflow this may cause.
