As of January 1, 2005, there is no deadline for using Health Savings Account (HSA) funds to reimburse yourself for eligible expenses incurred since you established the HSA.
For example, in 2013, you can use HSA funds to reimburse yourself for a qualified healthcare expense that occurred in 2011 — as long as your HSA was established prior to the date the expense was incurred.
