There is no place like SMU

After finishing up with midterms last week, most SMU students, including me, were ready for fall break. We had Monday and Tuesday off, so I went home to visit my family in the San Francisco bay area! It was so awesome to go home, and I had such a great time with them, but now I am excited to be back on campus. One thing I love about SMU is that, like the bay area, it is my home too. I love it so much that I am always eager to return and get back into the swing of things, especially because there is always something great happening on campus!
This weekend our football team has a big game against UCF, and I am so excited for boulevarding (which is SMU’s version of tailgating) and, even more so, cheering on the mustangs at Ford Stadium. It’s been such an exciting season, the highlight being our victory against TCU and winning back the Iron Skillet, and I can’t wait to see our team have even more success. Football is one of many fun traditions on campus, and I know I have so much to look forward to for the second half of this semester because there truly is no place like SMU!  Go stangs!
