Hi y’all! I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
The first week of classes is underway and this semester is going to be great – Cafe 100 just opened up in our student center (coffee, anyone?), the kick off of SMU’s centennial celebration has begun, construction is underway on the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the fountains will be reflecting in the sunlight, we have tons of admission events for prospective students in the works (just like you!), spring football’s open practices will take place along Mockingbird, the Mane Event carnival extravaganza will take place on the Dallas Hall lawn, flowers will bloom as brightly as always, more students will be welcomed into the class of 2015, spring breaks will be filled with fun and rest, and we will experience everything SMU has to offer in spring on the Hilltop!
Congratulations to all that were admitted Early Action! And good luck to those who have sent off applications for the Regular Decision deadline. If you haven’t already visited campus, I really encourage you to do so (and strongly encourage you to get Pinkberry afterward)! We have a plethora of events coming up this semester and we all would love to see you there! Have a great start to the semester y’all! Pony Up!
