“I told myself to dream a wish, so I dreamed a wish, so there.
I asked my myself to dream a dream and I was shocked that I didn’t care.
I made myself see the sun for the first time. That’s fair.
I’m dreaming and seeing and wishing and hoping and loving and hugging and being a lot
and I’m sinking and praying and running and walking and jumping and shouting and keeping real quiet
’cause I know that it’s out of my hands.
It’s all out of my hands and is slowly approaching with more than authority that I am a Senior.
I am a Senior.
This is my last year of college and I am a senior.
It’s scary the dreaming and wishing and seeing and thinking because those things… fleet.
It’s empowering to know that the things that are dreams are not completely out of reach. See.
I feel this way now, scared, but I know what I’m capable of.
I have a dream of accomplishing something great. I will do something great.
Consider this a poem of encouragement”.
