Merriam-Webster’s definition of Autumn: the season between summer and winter comprising in the northern hemisphere usually the months of September, October, and November or as reckoned astronomically extending from the September equinox to the December solstice: called also fall.
Courtney’s definition of fall: 1. a time of year in which the leaves should change colors (although they don’t) and fall from trees as clean, crisp air engulfs a campus in the heart of Dallas, Texas. 2. the season in which a plethora of families grace the campus grounds for a weekend of fun, laughter and being reunited with their children. 3. the time of year in which a wonderful four day weekend gives students time to visit the state fair, go home or just relax. 4. a season in which some cooler weather may or may not flutter through the streets of University Park. 5. the opportune and most necessary time to obtain a flu shot in an effort to say boo to the flu up until finals, at least. 6. a period of time where midterms overtake the minds and time of students.
Hope y’all are having a great week and a great start to fall! Pony Up!
