Mounds upon mounds of branches scattered all over the boulevard with the football field barely peaking out under the blanket of snow. Coaches lined up ready to go and football players lined out the door of the Llyod Sports Center. Info sheets covered with weights and heights, jersey numbers too. A bucket full of highlight DVDs. The continuous, steady roar of linebackers and cornerbacks, quarterbacks and offensive-line all checking out the competition talking about their seasons. And me.
This past Saturday the SMU football team hosted their annual Junior Day for prospective recruits Class of 2015. I helped with the event and aided the coaches in signing in and controlling a group of somewhere around 200 Texas high school football players and their families. I’ve been working a lot with the football team and staff this year on recruiting efforts, and future Mustangs, Get Excited! We have great guys coming in next year and from what little we heard and saw on Saturday, the class after will be more than comparable!
Hope all is going well this semester! If you have any questions about SMU while you’re making your decision, contact us! We’d love to chat with you! Bye for now y’all! Pony up!
