Tune In: New York Stock Exchange rings closing bell at SMU

SMU’s Cox School of Business hosted the New York Stock Exchange for a series of events on the global economy April 20, 2011. Duncan Niederauer, CEO of NYSE Euronext, joined Cox Dean Al Niemi for class visits and discussions with students and executives on issues facing publicly traded companies.

Cox School to host NYSE and ring the Stock Exchange closing bell April 20, 2011

New York Stock Exchange BellOn Wednesday, April 20, SMU’s Cox School of Business will host the New York Stock Exchange for a series of events on the global economy.

Duncan Niederauer, CEO of NYSE Euronext, will join Cox Dean Al Niemi for class visits and discussions with students and executives on issues facing publicly traded companies.

The ceremonial stock exchange closing bell will be rung from the Cox courtyard at 3 p.m. local time. The entire SMU community is invited to attend.
