SMU’s Office of New Student Orientation and Student Support celebrates the start of 2011 orientation with the traditional AARO Ice Cream Social, 1-2 p.m. June 24 in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center Commons.
The entire University community is invited to enjoy a free sundae (and priceless community bonding) as SMU prepares to welcome more than 1,700 new and transfer students through its Academic Advising, Registration and Orientation programs. Faculty and staff members can also meet the 2011 student AARO leaders and watch a brief presentation at 2 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Ballroom.
AARO sessions begin June 28 and continue through Aug. 16. Please welcome new students and their parents to campus.
