2010 Air Law Symposium focuses on aviation liability

Runway accidentThe Journal of Air Law and Commerce published by SMU’s Dedman School of Law will focus on a host of liability issues facing the aviation industry during its 44th annual Air Law Symposium Feb. 25-26 at the Hotel InterContinental, 15201 Dallas Parkway, Addison, Texas.

Other symposium sessions include presentations on the following topics:

  • Developments in the Legal Standards and Competition Analysis of International Aviation Alliances, presented by Gary F. Kennedy, general counsel for American Airlines
  • Trial Practices, a three-member National Transportation Safety Board panel discussion
  • Developing, Presenting, and Objecting to New Generation Weather Graphics
  • Aviation Claims in the Second Decade, an insurance panel
  • Defending a Lawsuit in France
  • Federal Aviation Administration Principles and Practice: The Balancing of Competing Priorities
  • Recent Developments in Aviation Law
