A “Welcome” exhibition: Twenty-eight recently acquired manuscripts, printed books and important fragments dating from 1459 to 1786 are the star attractions of “Welcome Additions: Bridwell Library’s Recent Acquisitions in Context” (right). The new additions will be exhibited “in context” alongside closely related treasures from the Library’s Special Collections. Learning to lead: Students can pick up tips and techniques to enhance their leadership skills at the Fall 2008 Crain Leadership Institute, noon-4:30 p.m. Sept. 13 in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center. The Institute is sponsored by LEAD (Leadership Education, Activities and Development). The Institute is open to current and prospective student leaders and to students from outside the SMU campus.
