Halloween deadline for Instructional Technology Grant applications

Full-time faculty members who plan to apply for 2007-08 Instructional Technology Grants must submit their proposals by the drop-dead date: Halloween, Oct. 31.

If you aim to try something new in the classroom that technology can facilitate, the Teaching Technology Group and the Office of the Provost may award you a grant of up to $5,000 to “explore meaningful and innovative uses of instructional technology.” In addition, the Provost and TTG will award mini-grants of up to $500 to fund the purchase of less expensive equipment or software (such as an iPod nano and microphone for coursecasting). For more information, visit the Academic Computing Services Web site.
