Flu prevention a campus priority

rgt-flushot-200.jpgOctober is the official start of flu season, and the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization are warning again that the annual threat posed by the flu is compounded by a possible pandemic caused by avian flu. SMU’s Memorial Health Center will offer flu shots to students, faculty and staff at a cost of $25 each, payable by cash or check, beginning Oct. 17. In addition, faculty and staff will be able to get their injections at the annual Benefits Fair Oct. 24.
