SMU’s Cox School of Business is partnering with Behringer Harvard to present the 2007 SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge Dec. 9. The Challenge features competition between five-person teams collectively running 26.2 miles (about 5 miles each). Corporate teams compete not only for the title of fastest team, but in categories including youngest corporate team, oldest corporate team, corporation with most teams involved, and best corporate uniforms (costumes).
“Through the SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge, we commit to helping individuals and businesses become physically fit and improving the community in which we operate,” says David Perryman, Cox assistant dean of marketing and communications.
All proceeds benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. This year’s corporate relay challenge will award more than $30,000 in prize money to the hospital. Register online and learn more at www.RunTheRock.com.
