More room, more parking and better public access are among the reasons why several key SMU offices have made the move to Expressway Tower. Several functions formerly located in the Perkins Administration Building moved to 6116 North Central Expressway over the summer break, including Human Resources, Payroll, Tax Compliance, Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
The new offices sit at the intersection of North Central and SMU Boulevard — and, as the Human Resources Web site points out, are as close to the Blanton Student Services Building as they were when they were in Perkins. For those who prefer to ride, the new Mustang Express route stops directly in front of Expressway Tower. If a delivery is all you need, drop boxes for all East Campus offices can be found near the post office in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center; daily pickups are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Learn more at the Human Resources Web site.
