This month at SMU, our residential E-Reps are addressing water use and consumption this month in honor of World Water Day. This international observance developed from the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro.
The theme this year is water quality because an estimated 1.1 billion people throughout the world still rely on unsafe drinking water sources.

Many manufacturers of faucets and showers are now taking the responsable approach by fitting some kind of eco system to their products. German makers Grohe and Uk makers Vado are just two of them. Any new building specifications should now include eco specs in their brassware orders.
