SMU Dedman College student trying to launch Dallas’ first community bail fund

Dallas Morning News Originally Posted: March 14, 2018   Junior Greg Guggenmos is trying to help pay the bails of indigent arrestees/defendants so they don’t have to sit in jail awaiting trial for nonviolent offenses. It is modeled after a similar program in New York, where he traveled to learn more.
